Mi Band 3i. Another wonder form Xiaomi?

Xiaomi has just launched the Mi Band 3i, which is specifically designed for the Indian market. The device looks exactly like the regular Mi Band 3, but lacks a heart-rate sensor that usually is on the back of the device. This allows Xiaomi to sell the Mi Band 3i at an impressively low price of INR1,299, which is just $18.

Beyond that there’s no difference between the Mi Band 3i and the Mi Band 3. It still has an AMOLED screen with a 0.78” black and white display and a resolution of 128 x 80 pixels. The capacitive button below allows adds another way to control the UI, while the back features two Pogo Pins for charging.

Xiaomi did a great job covering the fact there is no heart-rate sensor – the company has photos only from the front or onto a person’s wrist. It has all the other features like sleep tracking, idle alert, app notifications, locating or unlocking your phone, as well as the gentle vibrating alarm – you simply forget you need the HR sensor.

Realme 5S, the perfect Redmi Note 8 Competitor?

Well, Realme is again back in business with a new improved Realme 5 named as the S model. The phone is priced at 9,999 with 4GB RAM+ 64GB Storage, and 10,999 for the 4GB+ 128GB storage. The device comes with a dual-SIM (Nano) , runs Android Pie with the ColorOS 6 skin on top. The phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) display with 89 percent screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. Full HD was expected. The phone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC clocked at 2.0GHz and Adreno 610 GPU. The specs seems similar to the Note 8 of Redmi, but it comes out with 5000mAh battery and no type C(Fast charging support) which is disappointing.

Realme 5s, like its predecessor, packs a quad rear camera setup that is highlighted by an upgraded 48-megapixel primary snapper that employs the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. It is assisted by an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter with 119-degree (±1.5-degree) field of view and an f/2.25 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel portrait camera with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front is a 13-megapixel selfie snapper that supports HDR, AI Beautification, and Time Lapse features.

Whatsapp Users getting banned?

Reports suggest that some users got banned for “suspicious” group names.

Yesterday, GizmoChina reported some WhatsApp users are getting banned for ‘suspicious’ group names. According to a Reddit thread , a user changed a university group name to something that was indicative of child sexual abuse.

In February, WhatsApp released a whitepaper on how it fights spam and abuse without reading your messages. One of the methods the company uses to fight exploitative child content is to scan content such as unencrypted photos and group information.

“We rely on advanced machine learning technology to evaluate group information to identify and ban members of groups suspected of sharing Child Exploitative Imagery (CEI),” WhatsApp says on its blog.

Realme X2 Pro .. The deal breaker?

Realme X2 already out for global and is teased in the Indian market via Flipkart. The device is the successor of its previous variant and is Realme ‘s first step towards flagship killers. It will compete with the likes of Mi K20 and OnePlus7 but in performance wise it stands out better than them! The 855+ Snapdragon and 90hz refresh rate display handles performance with ease. The camera also does stand out on top and thus it can be easily predicted Realme gonna come out top yet again!
